Barometric Pressure is the force exerted on the surface by the weight of the air above the surface. It is measured by a barometer. Pressure is greater at lower levels when the molecules are squeezed under the weight above. Change in the air pressure brings change in the weather. High pressure brings clear skies and fair weather. Low pressure brings wet or stormy weather.
