Fresh Water Ecology Types of Water Water Quaility Tests Hydrologic Cycle River Classification

There are three types of water:

Fresh - found in rivers, streams, and lakes.
Brackish - found where fresh and salt water mix.
Salt - found in oceans and seas
 

Some examples of brackish water are Glacier Bay and where the Mississippi River and Gulf of Mexico meet.
